From February 27 to date 1 March 2012 will be held in Barcelona, the largest mobile world congress, the event attracted the Catalan city more than 1,400 companies in this sector, which will present the latest developments in the mobile communications industry. Among large companies present at the conference include Google, AT & T, Microsoft, IBM, Telefonica, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Vodafone, Sony, HTC and Nokia.
Infobótica Research Group collaborates with Telefónica Spain in the presentation of the project entitled Robots Home Environment. Thanks to the DHComplian protocol and other open protocols such as UPnP and DLNA, it has bee created a solution that integrates the world of robotics and digital entertainment services. Communications occur around a cloud computing system, which aims to carry out cleaning, security and video call in the Digital Home.
The event presents a demonstrator that explores the possibilities that the user may have in the future to perform remote management tasks on robots, local services and multimedia content, these tasks can be controlled and monitored from mobile devices or via a web interface.
